We will contact you soon to arrange an initial meeting, where we’ll introduce our services and discuss how we can support you. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you, answer any questions, and confirm if you’d like to move forward as a client. You’re free to opt out of our ongoing service at any time.
We have acquired the business of William H Holliday Financial Planners and over the next few weeks your personal and financial data will be transferred securely to us so that we can continue to provide you with ongoing financial advice.
We are licenced under the Data Protection Act 1998 and, as such, we must comply with their rules for handling your data. Under the Act it is permissible for your data to be transferred to us as long as the data is used for the same purpose; in this case, to provide you with financial advice.
We have stringent security measures in place to protect your personal information and we will never pass your data to a third party without your permission to do so.
No, we will never charge a fee unless it is clearly agreed and disclosed to you.
Yes – you continue to hold your current arrangements. What has changed is that we are now the intermediary responsible for looking after your investments. Your investments will remain in the custody of your product provider(s). We will not personally hold your investments, and we will not be permitted to make any changes to your investments without your authority.
We aim to build on the service you have received from William and are confident that we can match and improve on this service. We will continue to stay in touch with you, meet with you at your home or place of work, or you can visit us at our offices in Lymington if you prefer. At your first meeting, we will run through the levels of service we can provide to you and share our Guide to Our Services. There will be no increase in your current charges unless there is an explicit agreement with you to do so.
Yes, we will continue to review your investments and general financial plans. Part of this service is to regularly review your investments. How regularly this review takes place will be dependent on the ongoing service you agree to with us.
We have a centralised investment proposition which consists of investment solutions that we have researched and believe suit the needs of most of our clients. Individual solutions within that proposition are still tailored to individual needs as everyone is different.
If the centralised proposition does not suit your needs, then we have the option of researching the whole of the market. We therefore classify ourselves as restricted financial planners.
We believe we will be able to continually improve the service you receive, and we would therefore urge you to have an initial conversation with us about how we are able to help. However, you do have the right to opt out of receiving an ongoing service by writing to us at the address below.
The liability for any advice previously given by William H Holliday Financial Planners, remains with them.
